*7 Day/6 Night Surf Trip - Thursday through Wednesday (December 4th-10th 2025) & Wednesday through Tuesday (December 10th-16th 2025)*

6 Nights Accommodation
Transportation - We will have a rental car.
10 Coached Surf Sessions - Two, 90 minute sessions available per day, one surf session available the day after arrival day to allow for rest. One, 90 minute surf session available on departure travel day. No surf session on arrival day.
2 Video Analysis Sessions - Two of the 10 Coached Surf Sessions will be shot by a videographer for analysis.

Additional Notes:
Nosara is a 2.5hr drive (beautiful) from Liberia (LIR) Airport, please arrive anytime on December 4th or December 10th 2025 to ride with the group (I will be available to pick you up at the airport in the afternoon/evening) and depart late afternoon/evening on December 10th or December 16th 2025 so we can maximize our time and get a morning surf session in on departure day. There is also a small airport in Nosara that you can fly to from Liberia if you want to skip the drive.

Accommodation for this trip is a Hotel, private rooms with private bathrooms. The beach is a 1/2 mile away. This hotel has basic luxuries (comfortable bed, AC, small refrigerator, coffee maker), if you would like to stay in a luxury hotel in the area we can subtract the cost of accommodation for you.

Mostly sandy bottom beach breaks (there are reef breaks too) with incredible shape. Playa Guiones offers something for everyone with room for progression! Long whitewater rides are available on the inside, 1-3ft unbroken waves just past the whitewater, and head high waves beyond that! There are also many other fun activities to do in between surf sessions such as visit the wildlife sanctuary, ATV, horseback riding, SUP or kayak Mangrove tours, or canopy zip lining. Skill Level - Intermediate skill level due to most surf spots being reef (rocky bottom).

Additional Notes:
We will be staying in Hilo, which is the east side of the island and the most tropical. We will spend time surfing the east and west sides of the island. There are typically more flights available to Kona (KOA) so I will be available to pick people up at Kona airport, however you are welcome to fly to Hilo (ITO) and take a cab (at your own expense, it’s a very short cab ride) if you want to skip the drive from Kona to Hilo (1.25hrs, beautiful drive). Please arrive anytime on November 5th or November 12th 2025 (I will be available to pick you up at Kona airport in the afternoon/evening) and depart late afternoon/evening on November 9th or November 16th 2025 so that we can maximize our time and get a morning surf session in on departure days.

This hotel is located on the water (beautiful areas to swim in the ocean 2mins walk from the hotel), the nearest surf spot is approximately a 10mins drive. This hotel has basic luxuries (comfortable bed, fans, kitchenette, ocean front balcony), if you would like to stay in a luxury hotel in the area we can subtract the cost of accommodation for you.
”Being from the Island of Hawai’i, it is very dear to my heart. The people on Big Island are gentle, humble, and warm. All ecosystems that exist on earth exist on the Big Island except one (tundra), making it diverse and visually stunning. The water is warm and the surf breaks are mostly reef (there are some beach breaks), reef breaks are great for progression as the bottom doesn’t change making the waves break consistently. The Big Island is the furthest south in the island chain so it is sheltered by the other islands allowing for significantly smaller waves (more playful size). From Volcanoes National Park to the white, black, and green sand beaches, prepare to be amazed the beauty and amazing energy of Hawai’i! - Heather
