Nosara, Costa Rica
***8 Day/7 Night Surf Trip***
March 1st-8th, 2026 & December 7th-13th, 2026 (Sunday through Sunday)

March 1st-8th, 2026- Intermediate skill level, riding unbroken wave with mostly verbal coaching.
December 7th-13th, 2026- Suitable for all skill levels, first person to commit to this trip sets the skill level.

12 Coached Surf Sessions - Two, 90 minute sessions available per day, one surf session available the day after arrival day to allow for rest. One, 90 minute surf session available on departure travel day. No surf session on arrival day.
2 Video Analysis Sessions - Two of the 12 Coached Surf Sessions will be shot by a videographer for analysis.

Additional Notes:
Nosara is a 2.5hr drive (beautiful) from Liberia (LIR) Airport, please arrive anytime on arrival date to ride with the group (I will be available to pick you up at the airport in the afternoon/evening) and depart late afternoon/evening on departure date so we can maximize our time and get a morning surf session in on departure day. There is also a small airport in Nosara that you can fly to from Liberia if you want to skip the drive.
*Please note: You are free to come and go any time and day that you wish but it will not change trip pricing and you will be responsible for the additional expenses of the shuttles or taxis.
Accommodation for this trip is a Hotel, private rooms with private bathrooms. The beach is a 1/2 mile away. This hotel has basic comforts (comfortable bed, AC, small refrigerator, coffee maker), if you would like to stay in a luxury hotel in the area we can subtract the cost of accommodation for you. Please stay a maximum of 3 miles away from the group’s accommodation if you want to be picked up and dropped off for surf sessions. Another option if you would like to stay further away is to rent a car or ATV. Please note: Trip cost will not change if you decide to hire your own transportation.
Costa Rica is a special place, I’ve been there seven times and no bad days vibe or surf wise! The water is warm, the people are friendly, and the waves are high quality and very consistent. Mostly sandy bottom beach breaks (there are reef breaks too) with incredible shape. Playa Guiones offers something for everyone with room for progression! Long whitewater rides are available on the inside, 1-3ft unbroken waves just past the whitewater, and head high waves beyond that! There are also many other fun activities to do in between surf sessions such as visit the wildlife sanctuary, ATV, horseback riding, SUP or kayak Mangrove tours, or canopy zip lining. Get ready for a tropical fit-cation!

Accommodation for this trip is a Hotel, private rooms with private bathrooms. The beach is directly in front of the hotel. This hotel has basic luxuries (comfortable bed, AC/Heater, balcony with ocean view, breakfast included, pool, sauna. Massages and yoga classes are available for a fee).
If you are a surfer, Chicama is a wonder of the world! There are actually three points at Chicama: La Punta (smallest size waves), The Cape (medium size waves with a barrel section on the inside), and The Point (biggest size waves, the main attraction offering 2 minute plus rides). The bottom is mostly sandy. With this many options there is always a fun and uncrowded option to surf. Chicama is a quant fishing village, sleepy and not touristy. It’s lovely to walk or bike around the village and pop into the local shops for a bite or coffee. There are archaeological sites and other surf spots nearby if we want to wander. Start training for these leg burners and treat yourself to the Surf Trip of a lifetime!
